The Lytle Lady Pirates got their 2022 powerlifting season underway last Wednesday in nearby Natalia. Lytle placed fourth as a team in their first meet of the season in spite of only having five qualifying lifters.
Alize Sanchez and Naya Pacheco earned silver medals in their respective divisions while Mya Villareal won a bronze medal in her division.
