Finishing 3rd in district, Natalia’s Lady Mustangs faced Industrial on Tuesday night in the Bi-District play off game. Industrial finished 2nd in district with a 12-4 district record.
The winner of the Bi-District game will face either Blanco or Cole. Natalia finished district 11-5 and 23-8 overall.
The results of the Lady Mustangs’ Bi-District game against Industrial, as well as the Area game should Natalia advance, will be in next week’s edition of the paper.
In their final game last Tuesday, the Lady Mustangs fell to Poth, who won the district title at 16-0. Poth will take on Yoakum (9-5). Poth started off slow and Natalia took advantage of that by winning the first set 25-19. Poth still had a hard time winning as Natalia kept fighting hard. But Poth took the win in the last three sets at 25-19, 25-17, and 25-17.

Elsewhere in the district: Jourdanton will face Hallettsville, Poth will play Yoakum, and Poteet will play Columbus.
