Facing Karnes City on September 22nd, the Lady Mustangs were ready to win at any cost. They took the first set 25-22 but had to work harder than they had all season to win the second set 30-28. Karnes City fell back in the third set to lose it 25-14 and hand Natalia the match.

Running with the steam from the big win over Karnes City, Natalia bulldozed Dilley on Saturday. They quickly took the match to win 25-9, 25-23, and 25-11. Strong serving with 11 aces and 31 kills including 12 from Vera led the Lady Mustangs to this impressive win.
