“It was a really good week for us because I thought the girls played great defense and really pushed the tempo of the game to suit our style of play in both games. Our senior leadership is helping our younger players figure out their roles on the team and doing a great job of leading the team on and off the court. Our team chemistry is really clicking right now and that’s all thanks to those seniors. We have a tough road game Tuesday at Karnes City, but I believe the girls will be ready to give their all and do what they can to help our team improve. We’re not really focused as much on the wins and losses as we are on how we are improving from day to day, week to week. I think that helps the girls stay focused on just playing and not get caught up in are we winning. As we get better the wins will come,” said Coach Steven Spangler.
