In their second district game, the JV Warhorses face YMLA on Friday and after coming up a little short at 40-53, the JV move to 0-2 in district and 17-7 overall.
“Both teams started off hot scoring 13 points in the 1st quarter. YMLA took the lead in the 2nd and never looked back. The Horses matched the YMLA scoring in the 3rd with 9 each, but the lead was too great to overcome,” said Coach Gary Schmidt.
Devine will play Fox Tech on Friday and then face Somerset at home on Tuesday. The JV boys look to improve on their record and need the support of the crowd. Come out and support your team at both of these home games!
