JV Warhorses hit the field

JV2 Warhorses take on Alamo
On February 24, our JV2 Warhorse team faced Alamo Height’s baseball team. The Warhorses jumped out on top with a 2 to 0 lead. The JV2 held this lead for 3 innings. Cadon Hanson started off on the bump and did a great job of controlling the pace of the game. In the 4th inning Devine gave up 5 runs and that’s when Alamo Heights took the lead. The Warhorses battled back but fell short by a score of 7 to 5. They will continue to work hard and improve.
The JV2 Warhorses will play in D’Hanis on March 11th and then at home Mach 16th against them. They will play Harper on March 23rd and Medina Valley March 30th.
JV Warhorses take on Floresville Tournament
On Thursday we traveled to Floresville to compete in their annual baseball tournament. We faced Pleasanton and jumped out on top of them with 5 run lead. We ended up falling short 6 to 5.
Then later that day we faced Floresville and also took a 4 run lead. We ended up losing that game 5 to 4.
We returned on Saturday and defeated Somerset. The boys played tough all three games, were just didn’t finish the games. We played much better on Saturday. We look forward to improving each week.
Up next we face Somerset and Harlandale and the Lytle JV tournament March 12-14.
