Due to some Warhorse Cross Country runners that stayed behind to finish their other sport’s football practice on Wednesday afternoon, the JV Horses did not have enough runners to qualify in the team standings. However, the four that ran in the 113-runner field gave all they had to give.
Matthew Madrid finished 35th with a time of 22:11 followed closely by Zachary Alvarez who finished 43rd with a time of 22:53. Roy Gutierrez (55th/23:49) and Andy Cordova (78th/25:36) rounded out the Warhorse participants.

The JV will have a full complement of runners in Hondo on September 8 at Hondo Municipal Golf Course. The team is slated to run at 10:00am.
