At the district cross country meet in Lytle, the JV Mustangs brought home 2nd place after a day of hard running. The team took five of the ten top finishes and every athlete improved on his time from the beginning of the season.
“To say I am blessed to have the numbers I had this year would be an understatement,” Coach Kimberly Lane said. “I was able to fill a Varsity and JV team this year which was very exciting. We have great depth in the program right now with only graduating three seniors.
“The JV went out strong as well and came home with a 2nd place behind a great Lytle team. I am hoping to see great strides in the program in the coming years. I am thankful for a great season with my JV team.”
