Natalia’s JV Lady Mustangs took on two tough teams last week. Falling to Hondo and Somerset, the Lady Mustangs are working hard in practice to work on their weak areas.
Tuesday night in Hondo, Natalia was unable to score in the first quarter and only put up 6 in the second. This slow start was hard to get past and they fell 10-39.
Rubiana Juarez 4 points. Miranda Martinez 3 points. Valeria Rios 2 points. Jovi Velasquez 1 point.
In Somerset on Friday. the JV Lady Mustangs were more aggressive and played a tougher game. Despite losing 16-46, the Lady Mustangs showed improvement since Tuesday and at this rate, they will be unstoppable by district.

Natalia will head to Stockdale this weekend for the JV tournament and then play Nixon Smiley in Natalia on Tuesday.
