JV Horses tumble in final scrimmage

Now that two-a-days and both scrimmages are over, the JV Horses look to use lessons learned against the Navarro Panthers to help prepare for the regular season ballgames. The Panthers outlasted the Horses 4-1 last Thursday in Navarro.
“We simply could not put drives into the end zone,” stated Coach Heath Poppe. “Penalties killed good drives. Overall, Hunter Maxwell ran the ball well. Hunter Reyes and Mason Burford each had two catches for good gains in the passing game. Collin Dishman threw the ball accurately. Burford caught a 15-yard touchdown catch for our only score.”
