The Hondo Owls were unprepared for the JV Arabians on Friday night. The JV Arabians quickly proved their dominance and won 25-17 and 25-7.
“The girls showed great teamwork and communication in this game. It always feels good to beat the Owls!” Coach Kara Stacy said.

Earlier this week, they played Navarro on September 8th. The JV team won the first set 25-20 and fought hard in the second but lost it 24-26. In the final set Navarro took control 19-25.
“I’m proud of the girls for never giving up as we suffered a tough loss against a good Navarro team. We are going to work hard the rest of the week to get ready for Friday’s game against Hondo,” said Coach Stacy.

The JV Arabians hosted Antonian last night and will face Fredericksburg this Friday at home. They open District September 22nd in Somerset.
