JV Arabians sweep Cole, Carrizo Springs

The JV Arabians added another win against Cole on September 24th. Winning in two sets, 25-17 and 25-19, the Arabians ended pre-season 10-8.
“It was not our prettiest win, but the girls still found a way to keep the intensity up and finish both sets. This win was a great way to finish up our preseason. We have a few more things we want to work on as a team, but we have big goals for District and I am confident we can achieve them,“ Coach Kailee Ramirez said.

Carrizo Springs
Carrizo Springs was not up for the challenge the JV Arabians brought on September 27th. The Arabians won 25-19 and 25-17.
“The girls did an amazing job of keeping up the intensity throughout both sets,” Coach Kailee Ramirez said. “We were moving great in the back row and our hitters had an incredible night. I’m so proud of these girls for starting off District with a win. We are one game closer to our goal, and these girls are ready to keep going.”

With an overall record of 11-8 and 1-0 in district, the JV Arabians will head to Pearsall on Tuesday and then face Hondo at home on Friday.
