Arabians beat Cole in 4 sets

In their last pre-district game of the season, the Arabians pulled out a big win over Cole 3-1 on September 24th. The Arabians lost the first set 25-27 and they won the next three sets 25-17, 25-18, and 25-22. This win put them at 8-21 for the pre-season and in a great attitude to head into district.
“The pieces finally came together last night. Cole made some really good defensive plays in the first set that really caught us off guard. But we responded very well in the second and third set. We served very well in those two sets and that really got us on a roll. In the fourth set we relaxed a little bit and were not moving as quick as we should have been. But once again our serving in the home stretch was very consistent and kept us in the game,” Coach Leigh Ann McIver said.
