JV Arabians go 3-1

The JV Arabians are now 4-3 for the season after beating Rocksprings, Navarro, and Lytle. They fell in a close game to Medina Valley on December 5th.
November 21st against Rocksprings, the JV Arabians took a commanding lead early and held it through strong defense to win the game 33-17. They played hard and never let Rocksprings control the ball.
Kelsie Dishman 16, Avery Mobley 2, Allisa Zamora 2, Liah Romero 4, Jaselyn Guarjardo 7, Makayla Schnotts 2. Q1 9-2, Q2 19-7. Q3 24-12, Q4 33-17. FTP 44%.
Facing Navarro on November 25th, Coach Thompson and her team won 28-22 after a quick aggressive game. They held the lead from the first quarter until the last never letting up the defensive pressure.
Andrea Rios 6, Dishman 6, Rivera 4, Romero 6, Schnotts 6. Q1 12-6, Q2 16-9, Q3 22-17, Q4 28-22. FTP 70%.
Playing Lytle and Medina Valley in back to back days, the JV Arabians took down Lytle 33-29 after a tight back and forth scoring game. Lytle fought hard but Devine held the lead at the end.

Medina Valley was a tough opponent to face on December 5th. Devine came back from down 19-27 at the end of the third to just fall 3 points short in the end. Medina Valley won it 30-33.
