Devine JV Arabian Cross Country team placed 5th in Corpus Christi Saturday morning at the Texas A&M-CC Invitational. Of the nineteen teams, 228 competitors that competed on the 2-mile course, Audrey Longoria, Yessika Garza, Corinne Fowler, and Alexis Shook all placed in the top 50.
Team-wise, Devine’s 151 points placed behind champion Dripping Springs (80), runner up Lago Vista (83), third place Progreso (84), and fourth place Corpus Christi West Oso (83).
Longoria (20th, 13:35.71), Garza (22nd, 13:38.18), Fowler (46th, 14:19.56), and Shook (14:23.45) led the JV. Isabell Osorio (61st, 14:41.16), Lacey Shook (91st, 15:11.79), Lorena Chavera (125th, 15:51.55), Jenysee Good (141st, 16:05.60), and Grace Singleton (191st, 17:36.65) rounded out the Arabian’s individual places and times.
