Julia Medrano, 98 of Natalia, went to be with our Lord on December 9, 2021, in Natalia. She was born on February 16, 1923, in Goldfinch, Texas to Juan Elizondo and Delfina Garcia Elizondo. She is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Pablo Medrano; her son Reynaldo Medrano, Grandson Oscar Villarreal; brothers: Elias Elizondo, Jesus Elizondo, Jose Elizondo, and Timoteo Elizondo.
She is survived by her children, Minerva Villarreal, Hilda Gonzalez, Thelma Alaniz (Samuel), Cynthia Marquez, Juan Martin Medrano (Anna), and Rita Medrano; siblings, Apolonia Briseno, Maria Cuevas, Benito Elizondo (Lydia), Emelia Ramirez and Juan Elizondo. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December15, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church @10am. Interment will follow to the Frio County Cemetery (Pearsall).
