Joe Leonard Casas of Devine, passed away Sunday October 22, 2017 at the age of 84.
He was born October 31, 1932 in Floresville, Texas to Frank J. and Leonor (Orozco) Casas.
On September 8, 1956 Joe and Mary (Ortiz) were married in Seguin, Texas.
Joe is preceded by his parents, Frank and Leonor Casas and a brother, David Casas.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary (Ortiz) Casas; sons, Antonio and wife Diane, Joe Jr., Michael and wife Carol, Johnny and wife Racheal, Daniel and wife Claudia, Raymond, Carlos and wife Judy; daughters, Nora Casas, Isabell Morin, Mary Rosalinda Casas, Beatrice Seifert and husband Steve; sister Mary Flores; thirty-nine grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine, with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Devine.
