Halle Hagdorn, a DHS senior, had great success this year winning scholarships at the Post and District levels, and placing 7th at the VFW State competition for the 2019 Voice of Democracy competition. She accepted her awards at the State level above, and again last week from VFW Post 3966 First Vice-Commander Steve Lopez, and District 13 Vice-Commander Danny Hinojosa.
