Spring has to be just around the corner. The cold, damp weather should soon be on its way out if the Colts, Fillys, Warhorses, and Arabian track athletes have anything to do with it. The Colts and Fillys began their practices only a short couple of weeks ago at the conclusion of basketball season while the Warhorses and Arabians have been going at it since the beginning of December.
All of the hard work put forth gets to have its rewards beginning Friday after school in Pearsall for the middle schoolers. Their meet begins at 4:00pm at Mack Laxson Field. The high schoolers start up the next day in San Antonio at St. Mary’s Hall.
