Facing the Lady Bears from LaVernia, the Freshmen Arabians lost 56-40 but will learn from their mistakes as they press forward this season.
“The girls did an amazing job and they fought hard against La Vernia,” said Coach Kailyn Miller.
Scoring 25 points for the Arabians was Yamairra Cardenas, as well as Analea Brooks had 14, Mac McClellan 7, Jessenia Phillipi 6, Sidney Weyel 6, and Allison Stevens 5 points.
