Five candidates running for Natalia School Board election Nov. 5

Five candidates are running for two positions on the Natalia School Board in the election scheduled for Tuesday, November 5.
Incumbents Gordon Gentry and Jack Bradley, Jr., face challenges from Shad Heinis, Eric Owens, and Mireya Vanderslice.
Early voting is Monday, October 21 to Friday, Oct.25 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm; Monday, Oct. 28 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Tuesday, Oct. 29 to Thursday, Oct. 31 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm; and Friday, Nov. 1 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Early voting locations include the Medina County Pct. 4 annex building at 317 Hwy. 132 in Devine, the Medina County Pct. 2 annex building at 8366 FM 471 in Castroville, and the Medina County Elections Department at 1202 14th St. in Hondo.

Election Day voting is open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at Natalia First Baptist Church, located at 301 Pearson St.
Additional Election Day polling locations include the Mico VFD at 7121 CR 271 in Mico, the D’Hanis Community Center at 7475 CR 524 in D’Hanis, the Hondo Public Library at 2003 Ave. K, and the Medina County annex buildings in Devine and Castroville.
Applications for ballot by mail should be sent to Lupe C. Torres, 1202 14th St., Hondo, Tx, 78861, and must be received no later than the close of business of Friday, Oct. 25.
