Estimated $15,000 raised for Hannah after horrible accident

Community members and local businesses came out in full force to support local girl, Hannah Wood, who was injured in a terrible rollover accident this past January. An estimated $15,000 was raised for Hannah in a medical benefit fundraiser held at Devine Golf Course this past week.
“These four little words are the heartfelt emotions we have been experiencing for three months,” said Robby and Shannon Wood and family. “We cannot adequately thank each and every person that has prayed for Hannah since the accident January 2nd. We cannot express how deeply we are touched by each and every kind thought and encouraging word.
“Saturday was amazing and our hearts were filled with so much appreciation for all of you who participated in the golf benefit and silent auction for Hannah,” he continued. “God has been so good to us through this trial and He continues to place the people in our lives that have such a positive impact.

Hannah Wood enjoyed time with friends at the fundraiser.

“The Devine community has been so gracious and supportive of Hannah and we are so eternally grateful to be a part of this wonderful place we call home. Our biggest thanks and eternal gratitude goes especially to Danny and Tracie Lawler, Ernie and Cindy Morales, Doug and Margaret Greehey, Shannon Frazier and Scott and SE Golf Management for the success of Saturday.
