ESD #5 achieves Class 2 ISO rating

The Texas Department of Insurance, and the Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office have extended their congratulations to ESD #5 for achieving an ISO Class 2 rating. Medina County EDS #5 is among the select few to achieve a Class 2 rating in Texas. Our community has achieved one of the highest Public Protection Classification ratings awarded by the Insurance Services Office approved by the Texas Department of Insurance.
This improved PPC rating can effectively lower the cost of property insurance rates for residential and commercial properties within our community. Our hope is that our citizens are proud of the overall services that we provide to make our community a safer place to live and work. As a result of better fire protection, you will see lower insurance rates.
This award was presented to Medina County ESD #5 and the City of Natalia as an official recognition for their outstanding dedication and exemplary fire protection services to our community.
Medina County ESD #5 and the City of Natalia would like to recognize this distinguished honor could not have been achieved without the support and dedication of our dedicated firefighters, our 911 Communication Center, City of Natalia support, and the Water Department. Thank you all for your unwavering and exemplary dedication to making our community safe.
The Board of ESD #5 is President Manuel Rodriguez, Vice President Maria Sanchez, Commissioner Elizabeth J. Cargile, Commissions Cathay Gonzalez, and Commissioner Linda A. Rodriguez.
