Eliza Sanchez passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2018 in Devine, Texas at the age of 70.
Eliza is survived by husband Jesse Sanchez, daughter Elaine Franklin and her husband Jason; granddaughter Morgan Sanders; stepson Pete Sanchez and his wife Gina; stepdaughter Thelma; siblings Victor Garcia and his wife Rosa; Hector Garcia; Maria Garcia and her husband Juan; and Delfina Garcia.
She is preceded in death by parents Victoriano and Emelia Garcia and sibling Ramon Garcia.
Eliza was a generous individual who loved all of Jehovah’s creations and living creatures, and was passionate about baking sweets for people. She always placed others before herself. Eliza was a very compassionate and loving mom, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend; she will be greatly missed by all who got to know her. She was an active and dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Devine, Texas. Eliza fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7).
A memorial service is scheduled for November 8, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 103 Dixon Drive, Devine, Texas 78016.
Due to her religious beliefs, request any flowers and/or plants sent to the Kingdom Hall not include crosses or crucifixes. Any monetary donations are welcomed and may be made to the Kingdom Hall on her behalf.
