Driscoll Public Library guidelines for use as of October 1, 2020

Driscoll Public Library will maintain their normal business hours of: Monday – Friday 10 am – 6 pm (all transactions must be completed by 5:45 pm)
We will continue to offer curbside services during those hours for patrons wishing to use it.
Total occupancy of the library will be ten (10) patrons plus onsite staff. Only two (2)family members may enter the library at the same time to allow the most people to be served in an efficient manner.
Children’s area will be limited to one (1) family at a time.
ALL RETURNED MATERIALS MUST BE PLACED IN OUTSIDE COLLECTION BOX.
Items will not be accepted at circulation desk.
Patrons are to practice social distancing of 6 feet whenever possible.
Hand sanitizer will be available for patrons to use uponentering the library.
Face coverings are required for staff and patrons 4 years and older. Staff will wear face shields when interacting with patrons outside of staff area.
Hand sanitizer is to be used prior to conducting transactions with library staff.
Patrons must check in at the circulation desk. If the library is at capacity, they will be asked to wait in the seating area, located inside the library gates, or to return at later time.
Patrons are not to roam the library. We will be a touchless library. The staff will help you to retrieve the material you are wishing to check out.
All patrons are to limit their visit to 30-minutes. If longer time is needed it must be authorized by library staff.
Computer usage is limited to 30-minutes, max 2 hrs per day, by appointment only.
Two study desks for use of your own device and library WiFiare available by appointment only.
Headphones are not available.
Story times and other events are cancelled until further notice.Program room remains closed to the public.
LIBRARY STAFF HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE DISPLAYING SYMPTOMS OF ANY ILLNESS.
