Don William Bommer

Don William Bommer passed away on September 6, 2017 in San Antonio. He was born in San Antonio on April 11, 1937 to Oscar and Leila Bommer who preceded him in death, as did his son Brett William F. Bommer.
He is survived by his wife Dinah Argo Bommer and daughter Terri Sampley (Sam), brother David (Dianne), stepchildren Sharon Argo, Debbie (Michael) Watson, Michelle Bush (Kate Cullahan), Renne (Jim) Fink, Bradford (Elizabeth) Bush, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two nieces, a great-niece, and a great-nephew.
Don was a store manager for Handy Andy Grocery Company, in design and manufacturing, and in sales and marketing during his working career. After he retired he tried his hand at many things. He was in two Art Galleries with woodcarving and painting, was on an Art council board, worked on the newspaper in the New Braunfels/Bulverde area, volunteered with the National Park Service at the missions in San Antonio, the Medina Healthcare Fund Board, and as a member of the Devine Lions Club.
