Domingo R. Perales, Jr., of Castroville, passed away on February 15, 2020 in San Antonio at the age of 72 years. He was born October 28, 1947 in Laredo, Texas, one of six children ofDomingo Jose Perales, Sr. and Margarita Ramos Perales.
On November 9, 1968, Domingo married Beatrice Vargas at St. Louis Catholic Church. They were blessed with fifty-one years of marriage, four children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Perales of Castroville; children, Elizabeth Estrada (Alex) of San Antonio, Jeffery Perales of Phoenix, Arizona, Domingo Perales, III of San Antonio and Daryl Perales (Sandy) of San Antonio; grandchildren, Joshua Perales(Eva), Julian Estrada (Alicia), Ian Estrada, Bella Perales, Kobe Perales and Parker Perales; great-granddaughters, Leia Estrada and Sasha Perales; brother, David Perales of Laredo; sisters, Alicia Estrada of San Antonio, Francis Urquidez of Odessa, Maria Robles (Sabas) of Los Angeles, California and Hermelinda Zepeda Moon of San Antonio, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Domingo was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Steven Moon.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2020 starting at 5:00 pm at St. Louis Catholic Church, with the Mass of the Resurrection at 7:00 pm. Services will conclude at the church.
Memorials may be made in Domingo’s memory to the charity of your choice.
