Devine Police Report Sept. 24 – 30

Sept. 24
6:14 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Curtis Ave. in reference to a verbal disturbance between a male subject and a female subject. Parties separated; all was okay.
10:33 PM – Officers dispatched to the 1100 block of Warhorse Dr. in reference to a blue Chevy pickup and gray Ford pickup traveling at a high rate of speed; unable to locate.
Sept. 25
12:05 AM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of W. Park Ave. in reference to a red pickup circling the area several times. Officers made contact; all was okay.
2:37 AM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of Live Oak Dr. in reference to a verbal disturbance between a male subject and a female subject. Subjects separated for the night.
2:45 PM – Complainant reported a semi truck blocking the turnaround at Walmart. Semi truck was moved from location.
8:20 PM – Major accident on IH-35 NB.
Sept. 26
1:14 AM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a verbal dispute between a couple; all was okay.
2:31 AM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 NB in reference to a vehicle unable to maintain lanes. Officer made contact with driver. Pickup had frame issues due to an accident; all was okay.
4:25 AM – Officer stopped a male subject walking in the 100 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. The subject was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
2:17 PM – Vehicle stopped for an expired sticker in the 800 block of N. Transportation Dr. Contraband was located during inventory and logged into evidence. Vehicle was towed.
6:40 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of S. Jamison Dr. advised that an electric blower and extension cord were stolen from her porch.
11:52 PM – Officer located a small kids’ scooter at the city park on Windy Knoll.
Sept. 27
1:45 AM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of Transportation Dr. in reference to complainant receiving phone calls from mother who was advising that her brother and his girlfriend were involved in a verbal disturbance that was about to turn physical.
2:35 AM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of Transportation Dr. in reference to a male subject and a female subject being assaulted by another female subject.
11:42 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hermitage Loop involved in a disturbance with her boyfriend. Parties separated for the evening.
Sept. 28
12:40 AM – Officer observed a female passenger exit a vehicle in the 400 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. and attempt to take a road sign. Three female subjects and one male subject were detained. Vehicle later released to licensed driver. All four individuals were counseled.
9:42 AM – Complainant in the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. has seen a male subject on video messing with the dumpster late at night.
12:46 PM – Complainant reported a male subject on her vacant property in the 400 block of Bright Dr.
1:57 PM – A subject at Walmart was cited and released for theft.
2:52 PM – Complainant advised a cell phone was taken out of his pickup. The cell phone was later located.
10:20 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Harralton Circle reported a disturbance between a father and stepson. Parties separated; all was okay.
Sept. 29
12:29 PM – Complainant advised a male touched her inappropriately over a year ago.
2:30 PM – Complainant advised unknown person(s) broke into storage building and stole items.
6:12 PM – Complainant in the 1000 block of E. Malone Dr. stated an unknown person entered her apartment and ransacked it. Several items were missing.
6:49 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart for a report of a white Ford dually pulling a horse trailer that struck a parked car. Officer made location was informed by both parties that they had taken care of it, and didn’t want to file a report.
10:08 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB in reference to a black 4-Runner all over the road; unable to locate.
11:04 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of W. Moore Ave. in reference to a verbal dispute between a female subject and a male subject. The male subject left the residence for the night.
11:24 PM – Officer observed a male subject in a building in the 300 block of N. Teel Dr. Officer made contact with the male subject, who advised he was now the owner.
Sept. 30
4:30 PM – Officer was flagged down in reference to individuals asking for money on Oakhill Dr. Officer made location; unable to locate.
4:32 PM – 18-wheelers parked in the wrong direction on Oakhill Dr.
4:35 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of W. Moore Ave. in reference to a son and mother having a verbal disturbance; all was okay.
