Devine Police Report June 18-23

June 18
8:00 AM – Burglary of a motor vehicle in the 400 block of Hickory Hwy. An adult female entered a vehicle without permission and took car keys. Charges pending.
8:14 AM – Officer assisted DPS with traffic control for an accident on IH-35 N.
11:30 AM – Verbal disturbance between two parties in the 500 block of Rossville Rd. Complainant had her electricity turned off. Officers made location; both parties stated everything was okay.
3:46 PM – Report of a vehicle all over the roadway in the 500 block of W. Hondo Ave.
5:43 PM – Minor accident on N. Transportation Dr.
9:12 PM – Complainant reported two vehicles seen racing along the 1100 block of Warhorse Dr. disregarding stop signs. Officers checked area; unable to locate.
11:37 PM – Male subject seen walking in dark areas on W. Hondo Ave. wearing a hat, shirt, and blue jeans. Officers patrolled the area; unable to locate.
June 19
12:45 AM – Officers dispatched to the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a female wearing blue shorts and a tank top attempting to solicit a male customer in the parking lot; unable to locate.
2:15 AM – Officers assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a physical disturbance in the 1000 block of Hwy. 173 N. Complainant advised that a woman’s boyfriend was attacking her. Officer arrived at property to assist as cover for deputy.
7:43 AM – A brown wallet with a Texas ID belonging to a male subject was found in the 1000 block of E. Malone Dr. Negative contact at resident. Officer made contact with the subject’s mother, who will send son to pick up.
1:15 PM – Female subject in the 600 block of W. Upson Dr. donated five box fans for Project Breeze.
8:49 PM – Officer assisted the MCSO in on FM 2200 W. in reference to a male subject who advised a female subject got out of a vehicle while he was taking her to the hospital for mental health issues. Officer made location until MCSO unit arrived.
4:59 PM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of Oak Hill Dr. in reference to 18-wheelers causing traffic hazard.
June 20
12:39 AM – Homeowner in the 1000 block of E. Malone Dr. was advised to turn down music. Homeowner turned off music.
4:05 AM – Officer assisted with traffic control and lane closure for a major accident involving four vehicles on IH-35 NB.
9:26 AM – Officers dispatched to the 1200 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a homeowner who believed a possible break-in occurred. Officers searched the area and no damage to doors was observed; all was okay.
11:07 AM – Vehicle struck in the 200 block of N. Upson Dr.
2:46 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB in reference to a blue pickup driving fast and flashing lights at other vehicles. No traffic violations observed.
2:58 PM – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a black Nissan pickup with three individuals loading a bucket with copper; unable to locate.
June 21
12:00 AM – Vehicle stopped in the 100 block of N. Upson Dr. A male subject was cited for drug paraphernalia and released.
4:30 AM – An unknown person tried to steal a generator in the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N.
8:25 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Zig Zag Ave. reported the theft of a trailer valued at $7,775.
11:22 AM – Complainant in the 200 block of N. Washington Dr. reported two male subjects walking around with black shirts and backpacks looking into vehicles; unable to locate.
12:52 PM – Vehicle struck in a parking lot in the 500 block of Ross Ave.
8:18 PM – Officers dispatched to Onion Ave. in reference to a male subject selling door to door. The subject was told to obtain a city permit; all was okay.
10:22 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of IH-35 S. reported a white Range Rover on location for a long period of time.
June 22
4:15 PM – A male subject stole a chainsaw in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. and was jailed.
June 23
12:24 AM – An 18-wheeler was stalled in the NB lane in the 100 block of IH-35, blocking the lane. The driver was able to move it off into a parking lot.
1:12 AM – Officers assisted the MCSO in the pursuit of a white Chevy pickup. The driver bailed in the 1000 block of Hwy. 132 south of the city limits.
6:57 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Curtis Ave. reported a male subject not leaving the residence and causing a disturbance. Property was photographed and secured into locker.
8:24 AM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a female screaming and two subjects taking off NB in a black truck. All was okay; it was actually two customers involved in a verbal disturbance.
2:50 PM – Accident on IH-35 NB.
2:58 PM – Hit and run of a parked vehicle in the 100 block of IH-35 N.
3:06 PM – Light on Hwy. 132 NB not working; TxDot notified.
8:51 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Rossville Ave. reported a male subject urinating on his property. The male subject was identified and jailed for public intoxication, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct.
