Devine Police Report Aug. 16-22

Aug. 16
12:56 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 600 block of Crouch Ave. The male driver and male passenger were cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was also cited for driving without a license.
1:22 PM – Complainant on College Ave. advised an unknown vehicle knocked over a fire hydrant.
1:47 PM – Complainant in the 1100 block of CR 669 advised that over $20,000 was taken from his online checking account.
7:48 PM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to a black Dodge vehicle and a female walking in the area. Area was searched; unable to locate.
Aug. 17
4:07 PM – Complainant reported 18-wheelers blocking the roadway at Walmart. The 18-wheeler was moved from the roadway.
9:42 PM – Report of a physical disturbance between a male and female in the 400 block of Lee Dr. Officer made location. Male was ID’d and advised he was not assaulted and was being uncooperative. Female left before officer arrived. Assisted by the Medina County Sheriff’s deputy.
Aug. 18
12:30 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of LC Martin Dr. reported three male subjects knocking on the door. Officer located all three males, who advised they were knocking on the wrong door.
2:14 AM – Report of several juveniles in the McDonalds parking lot harassing customers. Three juvenile males were issued curfew warning violations and released to a parent or guardian.
6:30 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 800 block of Transportation Dr. The male subject was cited for driving without a license, and was jailed on an active warrant.
Aug. 19
1:00 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of Fox Run reported loud noise coming from a residence. Contact was made with the homeowner, and the music was turned down.
4:43 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of Ingram Rd. heard a loud crashing sound coming from the living room area. Officer searched the residence and the outside area; all was okay.
2:45 PM – Complainant at Walmart advised a vehicle with a blonde female driver in her late 40s, a black male passenger in his 20s, and a Hispanic female in her 20s with red hair were all involved with a theft at Walmart.
3:00 PM – Complainant at Food King advised they believed a male subject in a gray Impala at the gas pumps took a fire extinguisher on Saturday.
4:15 PM – A fire extinguisher was taken from Food King on Saturday. Value $100.
6:10 PM – An adult female in the 500 block of Pilgrim Rd. was placed under an emergency detention and transported by EMS to Southwest General Hospital.
Aug. 20
1:18 AM – Officer investigated a vehicle that was seen parked at the Shell station for a long period of time. The driver was ID’d, and stated he was waiting for family to arrive.
Aug. 21
11:06 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of Williamsburg advised a gray four-door Edge with the sun roof open had been parked in the area for a couple of hours. Officer made location and everything was fine.
2:34 PM – Female complainant in the 600 block of CR 665 stated she noticed her wallet missing on Aug. 16 and remembered using it at Walmart on Aug. 15. Inside the wallet was cash and an ID card. All other credit cards and debit cards have been canceled. Complainant was worried about possible identity theft.
10:00 PM – Report of two people on property in the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. Officer made location; unable to locate.
11:02 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Hwy. 132 N. advised of a vehicle off the roadway in a grassy area with hazards on. The hood was cold. Officer attempted to make contact at residence but was unsuccessful.
8:20 AM – The School Resource Officer provided transportation evacuation training for Devine ISD district employees.
Aug. 22
11:34 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. advised a blue or black Dodge pickup had been parked backed up to the ATM for a while and wanted officer to make contact. Officer located the vehicle at the Walmart gas pumps.
