Devine ISD’s $13.9 million bond failed, 193 votes for to 485 votes against, while Chris Davis and Renee Frieda were elected to at-large positions on the DISD Board. Davis received 390 votes, and Frieda received 334. Adam Hacekebeil received 255 votes.
Current Board member Carl Brown ran unopposed and was reelected with 47 votes.
In the City Election, current District 2 Councilman Steve Lopez and challenger Kristabel Aguero tied with 25 votes.
