Delores Ann Stevens, loving wife, mother, and grandmother of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the age of 79. She was born September 13, 1941 in Freeport, Texas to parents Leon Edwin Milligan and Jewel Susan Fluitt Milligan. Delores was raised on the southside of San Antonio all her life, graduating from Harlandale High School. She worked many years for Bud Jones Restaurant and Vera/Rhonda’s Nature Way. She was a very loving and kind person who never met a stranger and was always willing to help in anyone’s time of need. She will live in all our hearts forever.
She is survived by her children Jerry Lee Stevens and daughter-in-law Melissa (Missy) and granddaughter Cassie Mueller, Dirk Quinn Stevens and daughter-in-law Kimberly, grandchildren Allison and Wyatt Stevens, son Thomas Allen Stevens and daughter-in-law Barbara, grandchildren Josh (Zorka) Stevens, Katie Stevens, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving and faithful husband William Roy Stevens, parents Leon Edwin Milligan and Jewel Susan Fluitt Milligan, brothers Leon Edwin Milligen Jr. (Lee), and Gerald Lawrence Milligan.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning, October 17, 2020. Visitation will begin at 8:30 am and Services to begin at 9:00 am at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with Interment to follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 3.
The family extends many thanks for all the kindness shown to her and thanks the caregivers at Paulina’s Care Home for their patience and love shown to their mother.
