One-hundred fifty-eight seventh and eighth grade runners took to the FEAST course near Retama Park in San Antonio last Saturday. Thirty-three different running programs were represented in the two-mile race.
Devine Middle School Colts, running in their third meet of the season, came in 11th place of the 16 schools that fielded at least five runners to comprise a team score.
Leading the Colts were Mario Vicente (29th), Edwin Belor (62nd), George Garcia (64th), Maverick Beaty (68th), and Taylor Hurst (86th).
Runners were not divided by 7th-8th grade levels.
