Cadillac spiked, man with guns arrested after 120 mph pursuit down Hwy. 173

Medina County Sheriff’s deputies and Hondo PD spiked a vehicle on Hwy 173 north of Hondo after the man fled. His name has not yet been released, and fingerprinting was being used to confirm identification, but he was found and arrested.
“He had two firearms in his possession, and multiple rounds of ammunition,” Sheriff Randy Brown stated. “This pursuit started out as a call for a suspicious man trying to buy water, and having a gun. The chase went from Hondo all the way to Keller’s Park near Devine and then he turned around and headed back toward Hondo. Hondo PD put out spikes and we were able to stop him. He was traveling at speeds of 120 MPH.”
“Later, we discovered that the 2019 Cadillac he was driving is also a stolen vehicle,” Sheriff Brown added.
