Braulio Lascano, Jr., of La Coste, passed away at his home on July 8, 2021 at the age of 78. He was born August 22, 1942 in Castroville, Texas to Braulio Mora Lascano, Sr. and Marcelina Olivares Lascano.
In 1961, Braulio graduated from Medina Valley High School. While in high school, he played on the varsity football team. On September 9, 1961, Braulio married Paula Salas. They would have celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary this year.
Braulio loved to go hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed golfing for many years. One of his favorite things was BBQing for his family.
Survivors include his wife, Paula S. Lascano of La Coste; children, Anita Lascano (Kathleen Winwright) of Devine, Judy Lascano of La Coste, Braulio “Marc” Lascano, III of La Coste, Rita Garcia (Leo) of San Antonio, Jessica Pacheco (Gilbert) of La Coste and Stephanie Montez (Jose) of San Antonio; grandsons, Christopher Smith, Zander Pacheco, Gilbert Pacheco, Jr. and Damian Lascano-Ramos; great-granddaughter, Inara Smith; brothers, Felipe Lascano, Candelario Lascano (Terry), Johnny Lascano (Lydia), Maurillo Lascano (Yolanda), Jerry Lascano; sisters, Maria Torres (Abelardo), Mary Rymers, Guadalupe Elizondo, Marcella Snow (David), Florinda Rivera; sisters-in-law, Judy Waddell Lascano Cisneros and Josie Lascano.
Braulio was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond Lascano and Sylvestre Lascano, Sr.; brothers-in-law, Ambrose Rymers, Rudy Elizondo and Juan Rivera.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. Services will conclude at the church.
