Devine Boy Scouts complete Eagle Scout project at First Baptist Church

The memorial garden is located in front of the Sadler Youth Annex on W. Benton Ave.
The Ramirez family placed the garden’s first memorial stone, in honor of Alyssa.

While many were attending graduation ceremonies and parties this past weekend, a group of Devine Boy Scouts and their families completed Zachary Richard’s Eagle project, a Memorial Garden at Devine First Baptist Church. Sanchez, Seaton chosen as Natalia ISD Board student representatives

Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, Natalia High School students Samantha Sanchez and Priscilla Seaton will be the first student representatives to the NISD School Board.

Devine ISD Board approves raises; 11 teachers retire or resign


Initially, Devine ISD wasn’t sure if they would be filling all positions of teachers and staff who had retired or resigned this school year, but Superintendent Scott Sostarich and Finance Director Shannon were happy to announce at the board meeting on June 5 that they will be able to fill those positions.
