Arabians tied for 2nd in district

The Arabians are now 2nd in district, tied with YWLA, as of Tuesday. They faced off against YWLA to see who would solely hold the 2nd place seat behind Somerset. At 1-1, Devine is poised for another playoff run this season.
In their second district game of the season, the Arabians fell to Somerset at 35-45. The game was tight threw the 3rd quarter with Somerset only being up 2 at 26-28, but they broke away in the final moments to take the win at 35-45. Devine had 10 points off turnovers and 10 steals.

In a pickup game against Crystal City, the Arabian had to work hard against the old district opponent. Crystal City is 2-0 leading their district over Hondo, Uvalde, Pearsall, and Carrizo Spring. Devine took the lead in the first quarter and held on until the end to win it 53-44.

The Arabians will play Fox Tech on Tuesday at home and then Somerset on Friday. Their last game will be February 5th at YWLA.
