The Devine Arabians earned top honors along with their Quarterfinal Champion title. After a 20-7 season, these athletes proved once again they are true Arabians.
All District Honors: Senior Madison Mata was named the District Co-MVP. Senior Megan Runyan is the Offensive MVP. Named to the 1st team all district was Senior Ally Taylor, Junior Yessika Garza, and Junior Lacey Shook. 2nd Team All-District honors go to Senior Brianna Bowyer, Junior Kadence Yeats, and Junior Kendall Marek.
“Super proud of these kiddos for being named to the All-District team for District 29-4A this season. To have the opposing coaches of the district vote these young ladies onto the All-District Team shows what the opposing coaches thought about the talent on our team. I was happy to see all 4 seniors be recognized for the job that they did during the season. They have done a great job of leading this group and they will be missed going forward. As for the returning players, I am really looking forward to working with them going forward. I feel like we have a really good core coming back and that they have a chance to be really good again next year,” said Coach Jim Sessions.
