Playing only an A game against Dilley, the 8th Grade Lady Mustangs had to work hard after a slow start to earn this win over the Wolves but once they got into the rhythm, the Lady Mustangs were unstoppable. Winning 24-21, Kody Blanquiz 5 had, Trista Boucher 8, Jazmin Sanchez 2, Trina Vera 9, playing with Addison Crouther, Isabel Laque, and Kate Robinson.
“We had a slow start, but played at our tempo in the 2nd half scoring 19 of our 24 points. I am very proud of our will and determination when obstacles are in front of us.” Coach Mark Feltner.
