Natalia’s 7th grade A team traveled to Dilley to face off against the Wolves and did not disappoint. The final score was 42 – 13. Scoring for the Lady Mustangs was Yahdira Lujan 19, Abigail Fulton 16 , Anaya Jones – 3, Rubiana Juarez 2, Lacey Watson 1, and Jovi Velasquez 1. Lujan, Jones, Juarez, and Fulton put up some nice blocks that helped us to our victory.
My team isn’t a “big” team, but they have a lot of heart and toughness. We took the game away with many steals from some of my smallest players. I am very proud of their fight and taking home another win.
The young Lady Mustangs will play Lytle at home tomorrow night and then in Jourdanton December 19th.
