This past weekend the JV Mustangs were at Comfort for a 2 day to pool play tournament. The Mustangs went 1 and 2 for the weekend, Friday we had a lost against Comfort JV with a score of 48-22 and later that night a lost to Poteet JV with a score 32-21.
On Saturday the Mustangs returned back to Comfort to play against Our Lady of the Hills for Consultation. Not only did we come up with a victory against OLH but it was also our first win of the season, so definitely a proud experience. We won a close one with a score of 37-32, with David Silva leading the team with 19 points, and Joseph Gonzales close behind him with 15 points. It was a great win for our team, and as their coach it was a proud moment to see this group of young men improve so much from not only the beginning of the season but also in those past two days. They are all real coachable, drive to wing, and have that positive attitude to continue this success moving forward as a team.
