2019 Mission Devine in memory of Pastor Ed Dougherty

This year’s program was in honor of Pastor Ed Dougherty and to commemorate that his wife, Sandy, was presented with a framed flag and certificate.

Mission Devine volunteers were working last week helping neighbors with 24 projects all over Devine, and in the surrounding outlying area, including three in Natalia at an estimated cost of $20,000 to include all the project supplies, and volunteer shirts, and signage. Projects range in size from $25, $235, $700, $1,500 upwards to $2,500.
There were all types of projects ranging from house repair, to tree trimming, yard work and more.

Volunteers helped in the kitchen to provide lunch for all those who were out working on projects during last week’s Mission Devine.

Mission Devine would like to thank their sponsors who have supported them for the past 15 years. This was organized in 2005 to bring the community together. They do this each year to demonstrate and portray the love of Jesus Christ in a visible and tangible manner, to the people of Devine and outlying areas, through benevolence projects, with a particular focus on home repair and property improvement.
