PVT. Penelope Cruz, 18, of Devine, TX graduated from the United Sates Marine Corps boot camp in South Carolina on November 1, 2019. She successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at Parris Island, SC. While in basic she achieved a sharp shooter metal.
Following ten days at home on leave ending early November 12, 2019, she will report to Camp Pendleton in California for one month at military combat training and then continue to Military Occupation Specialty School in North Carolina.
PVT. Cruz is a 29019 Devine High School Graduate. She is the daughter of Eddie and Lisa Cruz of Devine.
