Going into Tuesday night’s (Feb13) District 29-4A closing ballgames, five teams remained alive for four possible spots going into the state playoffs. Devine was one of those five.
Somerset is more than likely going to end their league schedule at 12-0 as they took on Uvalde who was 3-8 and already eliminated from playoff contention prior to tipoff. Pleasanton played their last game February 9 and closed at 3-9 and out of the race as well.
