Devine’s comeback victory against former 5A, current 4A Uvalde got them some well-deserved recognition from the San Antonio Express News. In its poll released Saturday, the Warhorses moved up to #8 in area rankings which is up one spot from a week ago.
In order, Boerne comes in at the top of the chart followed by La Vernia, Poth, Navarro, Fredericksburg, Marion, and Jourdanton. Devine at #8 is followed by Comfort and Cornerstone.
