The Devine Warhorses racked up their second consecutive District 29-4A championship by topping second place Carrizo Springs 792 to 634. Carson Tilley, Brandon Flues, and Brice Champion finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively with Noah Tumbarello following close to place 4th. Kyler Brown was not far behind claiming 7th place.
“The players accomplished what they set out to do which was win the district championship,” stated Head Coach PJ Wells. “They have the opportunity to compete in Regional once again with a shot to return to the State meet in Marble Falls.”
