Warhorse golf team competes at Regionals

The Devine Warhorses finished in eleventh place as a team at last week’s Regional Golf Tournament at Gabe Lozano Municipal Course in Corpus Christi. Fredericksburg, Liberty Hill, and Salado took the top three spots to move on to state where they play Plum Creek in Kyle on May 20-21.
Lone senior Noah Tumbarello led the Horses shooting 85/88-173, which was good for 43rd place of the 95 golfers in competition. Brandon Flues was close behind finishing 47th with an 84/91-175. Ricky Gollrad was 68th (96/96-192), Denton Zuercher 79th (107/94-201), and Brian Schaefer 85th (104/102-206).
