San Antonio’s St. Mary’s Hall hosted the Devine Warhorse and Arabian track teams this past Saturday in the Baron’s All-Relay Meet.
“Overall, we as a track staff were pleased with what we saw from each individual,” stated Head Coach Khera Vay. “We had some really great times for this early in the season and feel we are on the right track to meet the goals for the season.”
Standout performances and bright spots noted by Vay: Jacob Featherly and Maycee Howard with a new PR in Pole Vault with Jacob clearing 12’0” and Maycee clearing 9’0”. Harlie Walker split on the mile relay was a 61.0; Guido Zapata running .4 seconds off his PR from last year in the 110 Hurdles with a 14.8.
With the new season underway and performances such as those, it is no wonder Coach Vay is “looking forward to our first traditional meet at Medina Valley this week.”
