UIL reclassification and alignment brings changes to Devine, Natalia, and Lytle

It is time for the UIL Reclassification and Alignment. Done once every two years, Devine, Natalia, and Lytle have all had their alignments shifted.
Devine football is now in a district with Bandera, Carrizo Springs, Pearsall, and Young Men’s Leadership Academy in District 14. The only change is dropping Hondo to pick up YMLA.
The Arabian volleyball and basketball is back with Carrizo Springs, Floresville, Pearsall, Pleasanton, Somerset, and Uvalde in District 29. Warhorse basketball is also in this district.
Lytle football’s district drops Marion, Randolph, Cole to pick up Hondo and Crystal City along with Cotulla, Jourdanton, and Poteet.
The Lady Pirate volleyball and basketball moves to a much smaller district with Cotulla, Crystal City, Dilley, Hondo and Natalia.
With the Mustang volleyball and basketball in district 28 with Lytle, the football team’s district is now Comfort, Dilley, Karnes City, Nixon Smiley, Poth, and South San Antonio West in District 15.
Full alignment changes are on the UIL website.
