
Tamara “Tammy” Alyssa Currier, precious fiancée, daughter, sister and niece, was taken from us too soon on August 22, 2017 at the age of 19, from injuries she sustained in a fatal automobile accident in northern Medina County. Tammy was in an automobile with her fiancé, Kristian Sallee-Kononchuk, who also passed away from his injuries.
Tammy was born July 25, 1998 in San Antonio, one of four children of Anthony Currier, Sr. and Patrice Truitt Currier. She was a 2016 graduate of O’Connor High School. She was currently living in Helotes and was a student at Northwest Vista College and employed at Arby’s. Tammy loved horses and being outdoors. She had a big heart, and would often rescue animals that were in need.
Survivors include her parents, Patrice and Anthony Currier, Sr. of Grey Forest; brothers, Anthony Currier, Jr. and his wife Lindsey of Hondo, Matthew Currier of Grey Forest; sister, Lindsey Currier of Clarksville, Indiana; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Visitation for Tammy and Kristian was held together on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Their Funeral Service was Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10:00 am at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Interment followed at George Cemetery Bexar County.
